No Country for Old Men

No Country for Old Men - Cormac McCarthy This story was quite the bloodbath. Sure, it kept me turning the pages, but the story itself was just sort of "eh". I don't think I'll go seek out the movie on purpose unless I'm in the mood for lots of shooting and dying.

The main character of a story is usually the one that changes by story's end (or changes the most). The main character of the story wasn't who I thought it was going to be. I think that disappointed me a bit because it was the other characters that I wanted to see a change in. I guess we can't always get the people that we want to to change in real life though, can we?
