Jess sent me this in her book-box-o-fluff-reading. It was entertaining in a different way than I'm used to with weather wardens, djinns, cross-country chases, and out-of-the-ordinary romance. I wish the book would have been more linear with less flashbacks. And I wish more information would have been offered up front rather than dangled as stale breadcrumbs along the way. However, I did like meeting the handsome djinn in the story. He's what will tempt me to read the second book in the series. (This is where I roll my eyes at myself).
