At first, I thought this was going to turn into Battle Royale and I was going to be bored with it. But it was well-written and quite different. I especially enjoyed the survivalist aspect of it. I kept imagining David Blue (Eli of Stargate Universe) playing the part of Peeta. Luckily, my husband bought me the trilogy for Christmas, so it's on to the next book.
